Americans with Disabilities Act in Relations to Infrastructure Access Across the Globe

So I was checking out this thread http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1548640, and liked the design, but struck me was that there is no way a handicapped or person using wheels could access those steps. In the U.S. most if not all developments have to be accessible to people in wheelchairs or scooters.

So I'm making this thread to see what the SSCers thoughts are on how infrastructure in other countries makes wheelchairs/scooters/etc accessible.....

Nice pics below, but no scooter is going to be climbing thme steps ...yet anwya... :)
