I'm Tudor, student in the final year at "Engineering ang Management in Constructions" at TUCN.
As a final thesis i've chosen to design the structure (metal based) of an automatic parking tower (6 or 7 stories high, and one story underground for a car-wash).
Starting with 3 major principles: minimum construction cost, minimum time for building and minimum footprint(space used), I ask for your contribution in choosing the architecture, the materials and the technologies used to build and operate it.
It's a 4 to 6 month project, and after the completion I will upload (if wanted) the full thesis.
I use AutoCAD 2013 x64, Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2013 x64 and Mathcad 14.
As a starting point (architecture) I present you 2 type's of structures that could meet the criteria:
