I know New Zealand has been ranked by Forbes as having the cleanest air in both the Pacific, and Asia, and in the world, but where does Australia sit? I'm guessing pretty low, considering the fact that I drove down a main roads today and saw literally 5 cars and 2 trucks with smokey exhausts omitting air pollution all over the place... it was disgusting, being blown into the trees and all over the place.
It's surprising a country like Japan with its 127 million people can manage to also have some of the cleanest air in the world, while Australia with its tiny 22 million can't manage it.
