Cosz i'm a dumbshit skip cunt, I don't see the problem in the story below.
What's wrong with social tension? Are we all expected to like each other. Sorry folks, not gonna happen. Better if we came up with a society with strict rules, but accept that its tooth and claw, people have different and conflicting interests, and most calls for 'truce' are just attempts to consolidate gains.
I'm quite comfortable with the idea that our pollies are evil idiots, our rich deserve pillory and our working classes sneered at as they triple charge us for shit work.
-----------
Train travel turns toxic
V/LINE passengers are being reminded to be courteous and respectful as an "us-versus-them" mentality simmers on the Bendigo services.
A Sunbury commuter, who asked not to be named, approached Leader and Macedon state Labor MP Joanne Duncan last week to say a petition was being circulated to get Sunbury commuters off "our V/Line".
It also asks for Public Transport Victoria officers to board trains in an attempt to quell what the commuter calls a "toxic environment".
In the online petition, that had attracted 60 signatures last week, petitioners wrote that Sunbury passengers were abusing the system by fare evading, not having a V/Line ticket, delaying trains and causing overcrowding.
Public Transport Victoria spokeswoman Caitlyn Hammond said most Sunbury commuters were boarding Metro services.
"PTV is aware of some concerns regarding incorrect information making its way around various train services and is working with V/Line to address these concerns," she said.
"PTV would like to remind all passengers that while Sunbury customers are encouraged to board Metro services, they are permitted to board any V/Line service to travel to and from Melbourne.
"PTV asks all passengers to be courteous and respectful towards V/Line staff and other passengers at all times."
Both PTV and V/Line have confirmed myki tickets are valid for V/Line travel between Sunbury and Melbourne.
