The Hato Rey cultural center is an experimental design in which the first goal to achieve was enriches the lives of our residents and visitors by offering educational, recreational and social activities. The center features a movie theater, daycare center, dance studio, theater, restaurant, music studio, art gallery, and a library. It serves as a focal point for the community and visitors to the area interested in culture and the arts by offering instruction, entertainment and exhibition. The Cultural Center's mission is to increase access to education in the visual and performing arts, culture and humanities. The design goal was not just provide activities to the community; the intention was to allow the diverse communities to interact with each other in order to create a multidisciplinary approach.
