Hello everyone I open this thread to show San Francisco's distinctive neighborhoods and districts
Open to all but the rules are:
*One SF random District a day ONLY.
*Up to 3 pics per post
Number of pics of the neighborhood of the day are un-limited as long it's only from that district.
Lets avoid flooding one page by posting tons in one single post.
Thanks! :okay:
By itself the City is well known by the impressive man-made structures and buildings within the context of the natural beauty of the Bay and Hills..add to the equation the "air conditioned weather" and this make the City one of the top travel destinations. But outside of this -like in any big city- there is a whole internal world that only locals know,a group of small towns inside the city with their own flavor and culture.
The proper city limits of San Francisco and county makes it a small City with 49 square miles but that has not stop SF from being the most important and recognized city of the Bay Area urban sprawl.
SF is not like many other cities where the downtown offers all the features and everything outside are endless suburbs with nothing but homes and a shopping center here and there. The hills and -by the way- the reduced land in the tip of the peninsula where the City lies has contribute to make the city a more urban place than suburban with spacious houses.
