Walking through the Galeries Victoria in Sydney today, I was appalled to see that:
I have become concerned with those who have decided to dispense with traditional Christmas greetings and decorations because of political correctness and that it may offend people.
Even for non Christians, Christmas is a community celebration - a time for getting together and embracing the values of Christmas like peace, joy and hope.
Are there any communities, businesses or organisations that need to get their act together and embrace the season or need to rid themselves of political correctness.
Also there are some that like to preach the message of the season, yet they go the other way e.g St Marys Cathedral prohibiting photos inside the Cathedral even though photos of the nativity scenes etc can be used to promote the message of Christmas that they want everyone to know.
Time to name and shame them.
- No Christmas Decorations - They have been dispensed with
- Replacing "Merry Christmas" with "Happy Holidays".
