What to people think to having a masterplan comparable to Islington for the area bounded by the eldonian village/railway to bank hall street? Peel may be a while on the riverfront, and if we do get a combined authority the distinction that your on the edge of Sefton goes away (hopefully that's the point). This could have the potential of LW, sort of, I know there's a lot of industry associated with the docks but surely that could be condensed AND expanded with a greater density closer to the port. The area bar some fine buildings I would save is ripe for major urban development of the sort and scale that is essentially a continuation of the city centre in every sense. And without a single company holding all the land it could develop over time bit by bit, but with an overarching plan. ?? Weigh in...
