I know that SSC does automatically censor links to certain websites (for what reason whatsoever).
It's annoying enough if you want to credit a source, but I can see the idea there.
What's totally rotten is that apparently it does autocensor e.g. a brand name in any text you post, even if it is not in a link and there's no way to bypass this in order to make the text readable. SSC does clearly miss the point here and does create unneccessary usability annoyances.

Appartently [Z]alando (the company the first paragraph refers to) does block its own URL (if you type www.[z]alando.de, you get www.*******.de and you even get ******* if you write it's name anywhere - even if you don't want to advertise or do anything else the forum ruled forbid, but e.g. only talk about news regarding it (maybe a projected headquarter or similar?).
