Anti social behaviour in Dublin

Now, we've had a lot of these threads before! Politics.ie and Boards seems to have endless threads on this nature. But I felt the need to vent about this subject as every time I set foot in Dublin the problem has escalated. My issue is that nobody seems to care about the air of menace in the city centre. The public complain but no one in power cares! Anti social behaviour from teenagers, aggressive begging, open drug abuse and drug selling and the methadone clinics dotted throughout the city centre are making beautiful Dublin an increasingly threatening place. Saying "it's the same everywhere" doesn't wash anymore. It is not the same everywhere. Dublin has a huge problem and it needs to be taken in hand. I've written letters to the Times, the Indo, the HSE, the Mayor, DCC and the Minister for Justice.. What next? I've set up a FB page should anyone be interested to join. I'd be interested to see if people feel it worth protesting or signing a petition to clean up Dublin city centre.
