Worthington Properties acquired a site from The University of Liverpool in August 2012 to develop a striking new scheme that will help attract students to the city when it is completed in September 2014.
The Great Newton Street development will deliver high quality stock being brought to the marketplace and sees a former car park and disused University property turned into a dynamic 276 student bed hall of residence.
Spread over four and seven storeys, Great Newton Street will have clusters of bedrooms based around a communal living area. Unlike other student accommodation, it sets new standards in space and quality with larger rooms all with en-suites and bespoke fitted furniture. It also has a private student garden and amenity area to meet the needs of the modern day student.
