As for many people here on the UK Skybar, this thread may have seem a bit ridiculous.
As for my experience, Moscow's like enclave of Western world with all its wealth and city life compared to Belarus. So, it's like moving to completely different place.
I'm about to leave Moscow this Thursday probably.
Belarusian cities and towns are similar to Russia in many ways, but much cleaner than average russian towns, and agriculture is more developed than in Russia.
Architecture tends to be transitional, something between Poland/Lithuania and Russia.
In general, Belarus tends to be rather boring compared to its neighbours. Very plain place in terms of Eastern Europe.
