Any thoughts on this proposed development for Skipton Town Centre to be sited behind Skipton Town Hall?: http://www.cravenherald.co.uk/news/1...___8_6m_buyer/
I guess this would certainly be an interesting development for Skipton Town Centre and it would be interesting to see how soon it will be until it is developed considering there is competition down the A629 in Keighley with the Worth Valley Shopping Centre that is also proposed. I wonder which department store would be interested in opening as part of this development (could it be a relocation for existing department stores Beales (with their present premises closing down to be split into smaller retail units) or perhaps Rackhams or maybe someone else such as a larger national retailer or maybe a smaller independent? I guess having the likes of the Skipton Building Society based in the town as well as having Skipton as gateway to the Yorkshire Dales would surely increase the chances of this development taking place id have thought.
